Position: Teacher Aide
Program and Location: Ogallala
Position Summary: The Teacher Aide is responsible for providing teacher support in the classroom. The Teacher Aide also provides a safe, pleasant, active learning, and problem-solving environment.
Tasks and Duties:
Schedule/Hours: 40 Hours per week for 42 weeks per year (August-May), Monday-Friday. This position has summer months off. Head Start employees who have summer months off are eligible to apply for unemployment during this layoff period.
Pay Rate: $10.38 per hour. Due to this position beginning in the middle of a school year, the minimum hour requirement to be benefit eligible will not be met for the rest of the 20-21 school year. This position will be benefit eligible for the 21-22 school year, which begins August 1, 2021.
